Vivo has released the Vivo Y100 5G phone in the Chinese market. According to a new report, the organization is now preparing to launch another phone with the same name, Vivo Y100 5G. This could be Vivo’s third phone with the Y100 5G moniker. The report has uncovered the layout renders, shading options, and features of the upcoming Vivo Y100 5G. The upcoming Y-series handset could be based entirely on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC.

The Vivo Y100 5G suggests having a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and full HD resolution. This display panel is said to support a maximum brightness of up to 1200 nits. The upcoming Y-series handset also suggests a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor. It may have up to 8GB of RAM and also feature 8GB of digital RAM. Allegedly, the smartphone will come with storage options of 128GB and 256GB, along with expandable storage.

It is said that the Vivo Y100 5G will feature a triple-rear camera setup, which may include a 50MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide perspective lens, and a 2MP sensor. It has been mentioned that the handset will have an 8MP front shooter for selfies and video calls. It also comes with a 5000mAh battery with 80W flash charge fast charging on the USB Type-C port. The handset is said to have an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The Vivo Y100 5G was introduced in the Indian market about a year ago, based on the MediaTek Dimensity 900. It may also have an IP54 rating. Recently, the company launched the Vivo Y100 5G in China, which is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor.
